Co-creative design and co-creative dialogs are significant part of the MIA Urban Living Lab. In this process, different tools are used to work together creatively on solutions and visions for a specific issue within the Urban Living Lab, supplemented by knowledge and learning modules. In the Urban Living Lab in the municipality of Groß-Enzersdorf, for example, co-creative work was done on a 5 x 11 meter floor map as part of the Action and Gaming Day in June 2023. Using various gaming tools developed by MIA, the next generation of the community was able to create their spatial vision of the future around the themes of food sovereignty, climate adaptation and biodiversity. The resulting map with a sustainable vision of the future is the basis for the further dialogue format with residents and stakeholders of the municipality.
